For the last few months, our plumbing apprentices have been studying towards their Environmental Protection unit exam. Due to their study time beginning in July, in the midst of lockdown, things couldn’t run the normal way. Therefore, our tutor, Stan, has been working with them online, using Power Point Presentations, and supporting them over numerous phone calls, to fully prepare them for the exam ahead. The apprentices took their exams this week at Lambeth College – where they attend once a week for their apprenticeships – and all passed with flying colours! Top marks going to Brennan Taylor, with a score of 21 out of 30! It just goes to show that with the proper care and support, goals are still achievable; even when there’s a global pandemic, the show must go on!
