This is a Cat and Genny  unit LA  (one day) 

To provide delegates with the skills and knowledge required to understand permits to work and to carry out the location of underground services in accordance with HSG47, including the safe operation of CAT GEN 4 Cable Avoidance Tool and Signal Generator (GENNY). Its is suitable for Operatives and Supervisors and Site Managers, and anyone tasked with locating underground cables. The certificate is valid for 5 years.

It includes the following:

• Basic principles of the location and also the avoidance of underground services.

• Hazard identification and the risks associated with them.

• Reading and interpreting site plans.

• Practical use of equipment.
