Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) One day

This Emergency First Aid at Work course is for anyone in the workplace who may need to train as a first aider. Participants will gain an understanding of how to manage serious incidents in the workplace, whilst learning several life-saving techniques.

This is a 1 day training course.

Course Details

• First Aid priorities.

• Managing incidents.

• Basic life support.

• Examination of a casualty.

• Unconsciousness.

• Control of bleeding.

• Burns and scalds.

• Regulations.

• First Aid kits.

• Recording and reporting.

Certification is dependent on the successful continuous assessment of the candidate, there is no final exam.

Those candidates who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate and card that is valid for three years.
